I know what you’re thinking. 28PancakesLater is just the viral marketing Twitter account for the upcoming zombie flick that takes place entirely in an IHOP. Hmm? You weren’t thinking that? Wow, that was random…but not as random as 28PancakesLater.
I type of the Twitter handle of one Erasmus Downey. This may be his real name, he may also have cruel and/or celebrity parents…I have done little research on the matter. All I know for sure is that ED is a funny guy.
I wanted to fit in. Then I realized how cramped it was inside.
Much of his humor is centered around his boredom/discontent/suicidal loathing of his job. So he is very relatable. (Apparently “relatable” is not a real word) He may rift on the day’s events, but doesn’t go out of the way to comment on all happenings (God, that was a bad movie) like some of my past reviewees. I find his tweets more personal which makes him less interesting to anyone who doesn’t actually know him. This is, of course, how the vast majority of people use Twitter, at least ED makes the effort to entertain with his life updates. He may complain, but he’s not a downer.
My dad is on his way over for dinner. We’re going to have a lecture, then for dessert maybe some disappointment and lasting regret.
